El Corral knows all about beef---big, hearty, Western beef, that is. The star of the show is the prime rib, which comes in four cuts, none of which are frugal. Steaks range from a petite filet to a bone-in rib-eye. And, of course, no ranch house restaurant would be complete without barbecued baby-back ribs. As a side dish, we recommend the famous tamale pie and cornbread. We also suggest ordering the salad with the house honey-Italian dressing, which is pelted with pumpkin seeds, croutons and cheese right at your table by friendly servers. The rustic ranch house setting adds to the casual atmosphere.
