Norms Restaurant Description:
From the outside, Norms looks like just another coffee shop. Happily, the culinary standards are much higher than the usual diner. The draw here is made-from-scratch American comfort food, with no shortcuts. The menu features diner classics like hand-formed burgers, meatloaf, and an array of steaks and sandwiches. Be sure to save room for a slice of homemade pie for dessert. Breakfast is served all day, and hotcakes, omelets and strawberry waffles are among the choices. One of the few 24-hour eateries in the area, Norms gets more crowded as the hour gets later. The owners of '50s cars congregate here at all hours, so the parking lot sometimes resembles a vintage car show.
