Should have known better when we saw all the tour buses parked out front, but it was close to our hotel and we were hungry so we gave it a try. BIG MISTAKE. seafood is frozen. the decor is dated and ugly. Table was set with dirty cutlery and glasses (when we asked for new cutley, the waitress gave US attitude).I've had better dining experiences in a high schiool cafeteria. Captain John should be court martialed

Aside from the disgusting food and depressing atmosphere, the boss is a B****. They overcharged us nearly $40 and tried to deny it! When we asked her to kindly explain the charges, she had the guts to overcharge us AGAIN $70 and insult us. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. The boss is a B**** and I hope they close down ASAP. Actually, I hope the whole thing sinks with her in it! Save your money and go to Mc Donalds.

omg..the food at Captain John's is disgusting. This place is for total show and nothing more. I've given Captain John's my last chance..I'll never, ever go there again. You want a good seafood dinner - try the Pier 4 Storehouse..awesome food, service, atmosphere..you won't be disapointed.

wow.. I dont know how this resturant got such a high rating.. they were out of food!!!!The service was ridiculous our waiter didnt know his right from his left.. he spilled our drinks and went to the captain to tell him and he just brushed it off.. he didnt come to see us.. he was too busy with some tourists who were having a big party there.. overpriced rip off.. the place looks discusting.. I would be scared to see what the kictchen looks like!! NEVER GO HERE!! I would rather red lobster then this dump anyday!! I would give it zero/5 if I could!! I guess captain john is recruiting people to give good reviews about this dump!!!

The ultimate in seafood dining. I strongly suggest ordering the LOBSTER ST. TROPEZ- Lobster marinated in Cream and Pernod with tarragon. @40 for a generous portion. The flavors dance and sing and laugh a little. My colleague decided on the shark steak and I have to admit that I was a bit jealous. There are tortellini and burger options for those who don't dig on fish.
