I am not much of a wino but after dining at Cafe Pleiade I would like to be one. Our server was so knowledgeable about wine and many other topics, that I was flabbergasted. Our bottle went perfectly with every dish and was perfectly priced at $41. I believe it was a Latour pinot noir. I threw caution to the wind and ordered the calf's liver with bacon and was pleasantly surprised at the pleasing taste. If I had to use one word for the setting, intimate would be it.
