Review :
I had my birthday last weekend and my friend's threw me a surprise birthday dinner at Brassaii. They had booked the private dining room for 12 of us and it was fabulous! A couple of them had gone in early to set it up. It was a perfect space for our own little private dinner party. I felt like I was at home, only I didn't need to worry about washing the dishes after! The service was great, and the meals that we had ordered were cooked to perfection. The best part, of course, was the dessert. We ordered a number of them so we could all share and that way I got to enjoy my two favourites - the white chocolate cheesecake and the warm sticky toffee pudding!! We finished our dinner celebration shortly after 11pm and all we had to do to find a place to dance the night away was walk across the hall into the back room! Now I can't wait for my next girlfriend's birthday so we have an excuse to do it all over again!

Review :
went for dinner at Brassaii last night. The meal was ah-maze-ing. For starters we had the Beef Carpaccio, creatively served as dumplings with guacamole and grilled chipotle corn on vegetable chips and the Baked Goat Cheese, which, if you're a cheese lover, is like little drops of warm cheese heaven. They literally melt in your mouth. For the main course my wife had the Ostrich, which is roasted and comes on barley risotto and is complimented by the addition of gooseberry chutney and foie gras juice. I never knew ostrich to be so delicious! I of course went for my usual at any restaurant, the Beef Tenderloin. I was not disappointed. Made to perfection, just how I ordered it, with the perfect amount of soy mustard sauce drizzled over the meat to bring out the full flavour. I can't wait to go back for round two with that dinner menu!

A couple friends and I decided to check out Brassaii's Brunch that we had been hearing so much about. We shared a few items from the brunch menu to get a taste for it and wow, was it ever good!! We shared the Banana pancakes with apple and cinnamon compote (so fluffy and moist), their eggs benedict with their hollandaise sauce (amazing!) and their "Croque Monsieur" grilled sandwich with ham and guyere cheese. If that doesn't satisfy your appetite.... talk about options!! All of theses items were so well prepared, and came out in good time too! Add a few lemon creme pastries and some specialty Brassaii Mimosa's and we just found our new weekly Brunch location!!

Review :
I was out with some friends last night and stumbled upon Brassaii tucked nicely just off of King St W. We weren’t really sure what we were looking for but when we got into the restaurant there was a Jazz band playing at the front of the lounge. They were amazing!! Turns out the name of the band is the Bees Knees and they play there every Tuesday night. We will definitely be back next week for some more Brassaii jazz!!

Review :
The new executive Chef Bruce Woods has changed the entire dinner menu & its fantastic! The salmon tartar witht an asian twist, the miso black cod with wasabi mash was scrumptious.

They also have a new cocktail menu created by their resident mixologist Jordan! (make sure you ask if he can make your cocktail for you!) the Love Hurts is delicious.

i will definitely be coming back to Brassaii to try the other items on the menu!!!

Brassaii Bistro Lounge hosted a celebratory dinner for cast and filmmakers from the movie "up in the air" guests included: George Clooney, Jason Bateman, Vera Farmiga, Melanie Lynskey, anna Kendrick and Jason Reitman! Bill Murray, AManada Seyfried and Rachelle Lefevre came for the after party. it was a fun party and the dinner yummy!

Review :
I wound up in this little space due to the street appeal. From the outside I would think that this joint is left over from a Humphrey Bogart movie. From in doors, it seems as though someone has jazzed up an old loft appartment. I was a little disapointed with the food. I figured with such amazing ambiance, the menu would be inherantly different from the other cookie cutter restaurants...but, no such luck. I've seen this menu in many other places and it is no surprise.
