Prairie Mutton Diner Description:
On the day that we were there, the heating system was having technical difficulties. Cold air instead of hot gushed out from the vents. Nothing happened even after we told the waitress. We had to keep our jackets on the whole time.
They have a dim sum/noodle soups buffet for $4.99 from 11 to 5 but we were there mainly to try out their lamb meals.
On the whole, the lamb chop dishes were very bland and only suitable for people who need to limit their intake of salt. We didn't taste any cumin flavor in the Fried Cumin Lamb. It tasted more like fried lamb with onions.
They advertised the lamb chop dishes for $9.99 in the papers. We saw the menu listed at $8.99, but when we ordered the dish, the waitress said the discounted price was not available, instead, $13.99 was the price for a small dish. This feels like a very strange place.
