Kyubei Description:
Kyubei, Ginza is the original shop that the current owner's father opened more than 70 years ago. It is extremely well known amongst the Tokyo business community. It's fun and the food is always excellent.
The restaurant is always busy whether the economy is good or not. At lunch, they only take reservations for the first sitting at 11:30am.
It is pricey but once you've had it, you can't go back to the "spicy tuna rolls" that you get in pretend to be American sushi / Japanese restaurants.
Don’t be late for your reservation. You may be refused service or at the minimum a yelling-at by the owner. And do ask for an English speaking chef when booking if you don't speak Japanese or even better get your hotel to book for you.
