But once you've stepped inside, it's easy to imagine yourself walking through an outdoor café in Italy where you're warmly greeted by a waving proprietor smiling through the dust bowl of flour that's used for his homemade pasta. Attentive service is a hallmark of this neighborhood favorite, where every meal starts with warm bread and a tangy, textured Italian condiment that keeps you dipping for more. Start with a cup of minestrone, followed by any of the pasta dishes. We like the formaggio ravioli, tender ravioli stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses and topped with a tomato-Alfredo sauce. For dessert, order the monstrous chocolate cake.
