Tangy lemon curd meringue tarts, creamy banana dulce de leche crumbles, tarte Tatins and many other baked delectables stand enticingly in glass cases at this patisserie and boulangerie. But Chiboust is not all about baked goods. For those in the mood to pass an afternoon over a bottle of chilled wine, Chiboust also offers a list of old-world, Mediterranean and new-world whites and roses as well as reds by the bottle and many by the glass. Those wishing to partake of a meal along with dessert and wine will not be disappointed by the list of small plates and plats du jour, including a roasted Atlantic cod with ginger shiitake mushrooms, served with lime couscous, or the herb-crusted Chilean sea bass, a meaty filet in a basil tomato reduction with red quinoa and orzo pilaf.
