Offering a succinct menu that still manages to cover all the bases, Home Team doesn't get fancy but keeps it interesting. Barbecue aficionados will appreciate the naked meat and the choice of sauces on each table to be added only as personal taste requires. Watch as chefs wrap up some pulled pork, barbecued chicken or steak with mashed potatoes and other items that usually get served on the side. Not here. While ordering the sides separately is an option, it's more of a challenge to the taste buds to mix them all together. Though it is not yet listed on the menu, Home Team also offers traditional South Carolina hash served over rice. The vibe here is easy and laid back, especially when local bluegrass bands take to the stage. Don't be daunted by the lack of parking out front, scoot around back for an entire lot.
