Bonefish Grill Description:
Warmly lit with lovely apricot tones and nicely decorated, this restaurant does a fine job of cooking fish and seafood, yet doesn't neglect the steak and chicken lovers. Families and dating couples all feel comfortable here. Whatever you decide on for dinner, share an order of the Bang Bang Shrimp, although the corn chowder with lump crab is a worthy option as well. The ahi "sashimi," really more of a tataki as it's lightly seared, with wasabi and pickled ginger is topnotch, and may be ordered as a main dish as well as an appetizer. Wood-grilled fish is the main dish to target, and the sea bass and mahi mahi (two of three mains that are available in smaller portion sizes) are most succulent. The aji panca-rubbed rib-eye steak is a good meat selection, and among the sauces we recommend the chimichurri, giving it an Argentine finish. "Hand-helds" give patrons a smaller portioned and smaller priced dish to consider; basically they're wraps with seafood. For dessert, consider the very good strawberry shortcake or Key lime pie. The wine list is decent, and offers a number of good selections by the glass. Try the King Estate Pinot Gris with the scallops.
