Kidd Valley Description:
Opened in 1975, the University District location was the original restaurant in the locally-owned Kidd Valley chain. A cut above fast food franchises, the burger joints are known for their lusty bacon burgers, giant onion rings, and 11 flavors of old-fashioned, handmade shakes. With its individual stores and stadium locations (Safeco Field and Qwest Field in Seattle, along with Comcast Arena in Everett), Kidd Valley may not have a high profile image, but it definitely boasts a loyal following. The kids' menu includes downsized burgers, chicken strips, and a buttery grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough.
