Crow Description:
Whimsical crystal chandeliers, low lighting and gauzy curtains balance the richly painted cement walls. Despite the high decibel levels, Crow is an inviting neighborhood hangout (kids' noodles are on the menu although this is hardly a family restaurant). Its chic, lounge-like ambience and close proximity to Seattle Center make it a suitable spot for the theatre, opera and ballet crowds. The menu features a sophisticated, contemporary spin on American comfort food with accents from Italy, France and Asia. Start with a bountiful Bibb lettuce salad, lightly dressed in a port vinaigrette and tossed with hazelnuts, Stilton cheese crumbles and crisp pear slices. Crow's signature pan-roasted chicken wrapped in prosciutto is crispy on the outside and moist within. The hearty house lasagna features spicy sausage, and the farm-raised trout is classically topped with almonds. Finish with the rich coconut tart or Meyer lemon chiffon cake garnished with sugared lemon strips. Service is polished and friendly, but can veer towards slow---so inform your server if you're attending a performance.
