But, make no mistake: the real reason to dine here is the wood-grilled meat. This is a carnivore's delight and worlds away from a classic, stuffy American-style steakhouse. First-timers will be wise to opt for the parrillada mixta, a mixed grill featuring an array of all-you-can-eat meats including beef, chicken, pork, ribs and sausages. It is served with salted fries, veggies and as much garlicky chimichurri dipping sauce as you (or your loved one) can handle. Lamb empanadas are a good way to start but be warned that portions are large. Dessert is probably out of the question; filled with caramel cream, the rum-flamed dulce de leche crêpes could send an Olympic weightlifter over the edge.
