Cafe Europa Description:
This funky-chic neighborhood bistro is located in a former meat market and grocery store built in 1905.The straightforward cuisine features local and regional ingredients. Stop in for breakfast (all pastries are baked in-house) and enjoy a prosciutto and egg panino. Lunch-goers may try the seasonal potpie, the selection of fresh and interesting salads, and classic, down-home sandwiches such as pulled pork. At dinner, the menu ranges from pizza to braised lamb shank and English pea risotto. We recommend the Café's unpretentious (no white linens or crystal) monthly wine dinners, which spotlight a local winemaker and give the chef an opportunity to serve a multi-course meal.
