Scranton Cultural Center Description:

Parking:

Two parking facilities are located within one block of the Center.

Adams Avenue Parking: Private lot - is located in the 400 block of Adams Avenue directly behind the Scranton Cultrual Center. Rates vary.

Scranton Parking Authority Parking: Located in
the 300 block of North Washington Avenue 1 block
past the Scranton Cultrual Center. Rates vary.

General Rules:

The following items are PROHIBITED in the Center:
coolers, backpacks, oversized bags, bottles, cans and glass containers, outside food or beverages, horns, whistles, banners, noisemakers, laser pens, video cameras, or recording devices, illegal substances, weapons or any other threatening objects

Bags may be checked for every event.

Other security measures vary per event.

The Center is a SMOKE FREE facility. No smoking
materials, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, lighters, matches or other flammable items may be brought
into the Center.

There is no Re-Entry upon Exit for most concert events.

Cameras and recording devices may vary from event
to event but are generally prohibited.

Patrons may be subject to search.

Miscellaneous:

The Scranton Cultural Center is located inside the Masonic Temple and Scottish Rite Cathedral at 420 North Washington Avenue, Scranton, PA.

The building is recognized as a nationally significant landmark and is listed on the Pennsylvania Hisotric Register.

The facility contains several formal meeting rooms,
a library, two ballrooms, tow theatres, and a cultural enrichment center. The facility also houses the offices of the Valley of Scranton Masonic Logdes.

FROM NORTH:
- Take PA. Interstate route 81 south to Exit 185, The Scranton Expressway
- Continue straight to the 2nd traffic light
- Turn right onto Adams Avenue
- Go to the third traffic light and turn left onto Vine Street
- Go to the next traffic light and turn left onto North Washington Avenue
- The scranton Cultrual Center is the 2nd large
building on your left

FROM SOUTH:
- Take 81 North Exit 185, The Scranton Expressway
- Continue straight to the 2nd traffic light
- Turn right onto Adams Avenue
- Go to the third traffic light and turn left onto Vine Street
- Go to the next traffic light and turn left onto North Washington Avenue
- The scranton Cultrual Center is the 2nd large
