The Sanctuary Restaurant and Gallery Description:
The Sanctuary is located in a former United Church Building. The building is on the original field stone basement constucted in 1910. The main level was completed in 1928. The ambiance of the old church with its stained glass windows contributes the casual fine dining experience. Antique furniture intermixed with the owner's personal decor contribute to the ambiance.
The menu includes innovative choices, all of which are prepared from locally sourced foods such as wild boar, and saskatoon berries.
The restaurant seats about 30 diners, so reservations are recommended. The restaurant is licensed.
