The Railyard Restaurant & Saloon Description:
Chef-owner Louis Moskow also owns 315 Restaurant & Wine Bar, a romantic and classy steak frites place on Old Santa Fe Trail. But here at The Railyard (it is indeed located in the former yard of the Santa Fe, Atchison and Topeka railroad), Moskow dishes up straightforward American food to an appreciative audience. Diners looking for a respite from Santa Fe's ever-present red and green chile will revel in menu staples like roasted pan-fried pork chops with creamy spinach and mashed potatoes. Specials include nostalgic dishes like green bean casserole---made with a porcini mushroom cream sauce and topped with ribbons of flash-fried onions. This is the kind of food that can be vapid in hands less capable than your grandmother's, or her very capable stand-ins at The Railyard.
