Though a full menu is available and most dishes boast serious flavor (and serious spice), tamales at Posa's are well-known in Santa Fe---and for good reason. Handmade in town, using an old family recipe, the little bundles of corn are just as they should be: served steaming hot and tender, with a lovely combination of savory and spicy. The green chile chicken tamales are local favorites, or try the vegan tamales, which pack zucchini, squash, red peppers, green chile and corn into the masa. Order the sweet, spicy horchata, a drink popular in New Mexico for its tasty zing. Don't let the cafeteria-style dining stop you from enjoying a meal here: the tamales make up for a lackluster atmosphere.
