Thai-Rrific Restaurant Description:
Both of these small Bangkok-style Thai restaurants (there's another location in Atascadero) dish up fine renditions of classics---especially the pad thai noodles, chicken satay with peanut sauce, hot-and-sour tom kah gai chicken and coconut soup, and spicy prik khing curry---and these basics seem to be the best part of the menu. While we like a couple of the more unique offerings such as the delicately sweet Thai basil chicken (order it spicy for a nice contrast) and the rich, black pepper-flecked gravy of the spicy garlic pork, some things like the oddly incongruous yum woon sen salad miss the mark.
