Parking:

Car and bicycle parking are available in the Concourse Parking Garage. Access the garage from Fulton St. at 10th Ave. or at Concourse Dr. and Martin Luther King Dr. inside the park. Public transportation is strongly advised, as parking availability is limited.

Public Transportation:

The de Young is accessible via Muni lines 44, 5, 21 and the N-Judah. The Muni 74X CultureBus stops at Yerba Buena, Union Square, Civic Center and Golden Gate Park to bring you close to cultural destinations. For a $7 fare receive unlimited rides between 10am-5pm. Muni riders with a Fast Pass or transfer receive a $2 museum admission discount available at the box office. Call 511 or visit 511.org for more information.

Street parking is located throughout Golden Gate Park and the neighboring areas. The Concourse Parking Facility is located on Fulton Street and 8th Avenue. The garage has limited parking and will fill quickly. Public transportation or carpooling is highly encouraged.

Accessible parking is available in the Music Concourse Parking Facility. There are 15 wheelchair accessible spots near the elevator. The front entrance to the museum can be accessed from the garage by elevator.

Strollers and Backpacks:
Unfortunately, due to space and crowding considerations strollers are not permitted inside the exhibition. Please note that baby-carrying backpacks and large backpacks are not allowed inside the special exhibition galleries. We do allow soft, front-pack infant carriers inside the galleries
