Parking:

Limited street parking is available. Be careful of any signs indicating illegal parking, as many spaces are for truck unloading only, or must be cleared by 4:00pm for commute times.

Meters run Monday through Saturday until 6:00pm.

Also, there are many public and private lots in the area, such as:
Downtown Center Garage at OFarrell and Mason St. This is the closest garage to the Curran Theatre.

Ellis-OFarrell Garage is also nearby.
There is a large pay lot underneath Union Square, enter on Post.

There are also pay lots at the corner of Taylor and OFarrell, and at Sutter-Stockton.

Public Transportation:

From BART or Muni:
* Get off at the Powell Street Station and walk up �Powell Street Exit.
* Walk up Powell Street 4 blocks to Geary.
* Turn left on Geary and walk 1 1/2 blocks to the Curran Theatre at 445 Geary.

General Rules:

The Curran Theatre allows:
* No cameras
* No recorders
* No smoking

* The Curran Theatre reserves the right to seat late patrons�at managements discression.
* All pages, cell phones, watches, and similar devices should�be turned off or to vibrate during performances.
* There is no dress code at the Curran Theatre. Most attendees�dress as if going for a meal at a nice restaurant.

A cocktail bar is available in the main lobby 45 minutes prior to show time, and during intermission.




Driving direction to Curran Theatre:
From the South Bay:
* Follow the signs to Civic Center and exit at 9th Street.
* Take 9th Street to Market Street.
* Cross Market Street and 9th Street becomes Larkin to OFarrell.
* Turn right on OFarrell and go 5 blocks to Mason Street.
* This is the Downtown Center Garage at OFarrell and Mason and the best place to park.
* Walk up Mason 1 block to Geary, and turn left.
* The Curran Theatre is located 1/2 block away at 445 Geary.

From the Bay Bridge (East Bay):
* Take the downtown 5th Street Exit.
* Go to the left down the off-ramp and continue on Harrison to�6th Street.
* Cross Market and 6th Street becomes Taylor.
* Continue up Taylor to OFarrell. Make a right turn onto O'Farrell and go 1 block to Mason.
* This is the Downtown Center Garage at OFarrell and Mason and the best place to park.
* Walk up Mason 1 block to Geary and turn left.
* The Curran Theatre is located 1/2 block away at 445 Geary.

From Marin County via the Golden Gate Bridge:
* Follow the signs for 101 South and take Lombard to Van Ness Ave.
* Turn right onto Van Ness Ave. and go to OFarrell.
* Make a left turn on OFarrell and go to Mason.
* This is the Downtown Center Garage at OFarrell and Mason and the best place to park.
* Walk up Mason 1 block to Geary and turn left.
* The Curran Theatre is located 1/2 block away at 445 Geary.
