Hearthy, cheap/medium priced, fresh sushi and a variety of other Japanese dishes. Medium sized restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. A long waiting queue during the dinner hours, very good seating during lunch. Takeout is quick even during the busiest hours.
Kitaro offers sushi and traditionally prepared dishes that are worth considering if you’re in search of an inexpensive Japanese meal. You can sit at any of the half dozen tables or at the sushi bar, where you can get a close-up view of the sushi chef at work. Try the maguro nigiri or the spider rolls. Also consider the house special rolls, which change daily, and are usually impressive.
