Meehan's Public House Description:
At Meehan's brews rule, along with splendid single malt Scotch whiskeys. Huge sandwiches and fish 'n' chips (lightly battered, not at all greasy) keep the local families well fed. Occasionally, Irish stew and similar pub fare make appearances including shepherds' pie (made with beef) and bangers and mash. The Food 101 meatloaf is a menu standard. Families often enjoy this location early in the evening, before it gets too involved with the mug-hoisting crowd. Sticky toffee pudding is a regular dessert.
