Kansas City Barbecue Description:
An upgraded kitchen and smoker mean tasty brisket, pulled pork, St. Louis ribs and burnt end favorites. The usual suspects come as sides like corn on the cob, rings, fries, beans, potato salad and slaw, but they are as good as it gets. Another claim to fame: the sleazy bar scene in "Top Gun" was filmed here. What matters more is that it's hard to find better barbecue anywhere in San Diego. Since losing precious memorabilia in a fire, people from around the globe have sent in items such as license plates, funny signs, military hats and more to comprise the décor.
