Review :
I`m writing this on behalf of myself and a dozen other seniors who have been having Sunday lunches at the Hideaway restaurant in Salmon Arm. The food is reaonably good, but the overall service is just awful. We finally talked them into giving us separate bills, but now the waitress tells us that, because we want separate bills, it takes the cook much longer to make up the orders. This is pure bull. We wait about 3/4 of an hour for our orders; the tables and chairs look like they were all bought at a bankruptcy auction, and the whole place looks dirty. They have a steam table there that they refill with food for a smorg they have at lunch, and this last Sunday there was a large, overweight girl in a filthy black smock hauling food out to this steam table. It was very unappetizing. Oh, the reason they didn`t want to make out separate bills was they didn`t have a computor yet - at least, this was their excuse. As I said, the food, and prices, are reasonable, but the rest of it is God-awful.
