Pueblo Solis Description:
Pueblo Solis has served menudo, the stew of tripe, hominy, onions and jalapeños, every night, even before it was trendy. Take note of the tasty guacamole, spicy fajitas and tender tamales, then go a step beyond the usual offerings toward roasted chicken achiote in traditional pepper sauce, Chihuahua cheese-topped sopes (which the menu describes to the uninitiated as mini pizzas) or any of the fish entrées. The third generation of the Solis family is running the place now, and it's worth raising a margarita (mixed from scratch) to their continued efforts.
