India's Rasoi Description:
You'd be hard-pressed to find a more colorful lunch venue than the Indian buffet at Rasoi. Since moving to the Central West End from the suburbs a while back, the restaurant has attracted a new following that, combined with the patrons it's built up in more than a decade of operation, keeps the dining room pleasantly full. Rasoi delivers specialties of North and South India along with a few fusion items, particularly among appetizers. You'll find some topnotch salads---exotic spicing finds a home in the tamarind vinaigrette---as well as dynamite desserts. The menu lists nearly as many vegetarian as meaty entrées (we suggest the lamb shank korma), plus a nearly equal number of rice and bread options.
