Blueberry Hill is singular in many ways: the jukebox warms the heart of anyone over 30; the two live performance areas book eclectic and-or beloved bands (Chuck Berry plays live once a month); and room after room is jammed with rock 'n' roll collectibles from the '50s and beyond. Menu highlights are the topnotch burgers and soups. The bar grub and breakfast fare is decent, but the rest is best consumed while playing pinball. Under 21's not admitted after 8 p.m. Joe Edwards, who started the restaurant in 1972, is an icon in the neighborhood---he was instrumental in pulling The Loop up by its bootstraps, and he still fills any local niche he sees.
