Tex Wasabi's Description:
The Food Network's Guy Fieri takes fusion to a whole new level with Tex Wasabi's, which brings together influences from the Far East and the deep South. The space is expansive, with multi-level dining areas, private rooms and a sprawling bar, dotted with paper lanterns, kimonos and other stereotypically Asian décor. Appetizers include domestic bites such as pork sliders and buffalo french fries, as well as imports such as miso albacore and Szechwan green beans. Entrées are equally varied, with barbecued ribs and brisket alongside tempura and teriyaki chicken. Sushi selections include the basics rolls and nigiri, as well as a sub-menu of customer creations. But the highlight is by far the "gringo" sushi: The Screaming Gobbler has turkey, jalapeños and pepper jack cheese, while the Kemosabe has barbecue beef brisket, french fries and a garlic chili mayo.
