Opa Opa Description:
Bright colors and a cafeteria-style front counter are the hallmarks of this neighborhood eatery. The menu, while offering all the staples of Greek cuisine, can be a little overwhelming to the uninitiated with its flowery descriptions. But if you jump in head-first you won't be sorry. The gyros are stuffed with thick-sliced lamb, well seasoned and tender, while the accompanying orzo salad is loaded with fresh parsley, tomatoes and artichokes. Other offerings include all the usual suspects: spanakopita, dolmas, hummus, falafel, moussaka and souvlaki, as well as several pita pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Take your food to go or grab a little table on the sidewalk out front.
