Grange Restaurant, under the direction of Executive Chef Michael Tuohy, is now open.
Grange features a modern menu with influences from the Mediterranean, Italian, Spanish, Provencal, and North African flavors being prevalent. The use of locally-sourced and produced ingredients often raised on small family farms that follow sustainable practices is the standard.
Grange serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends.
Located in an historic hotel in the heart of downtown, Grange has all the elements of a destination restaurant. Elegant design and a masterfully crafted menu attract not only guests of the hotel, but locals as well. The main attraction is chef Michael Tuohy, who turns out innovative dishes with all the care and precision one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. In fact, his farm-to-table philosophy is evident in every dish, and he can often be spotted shopping for fresh produce at the neighboring farmers market. The seasonal menu may include such starters as artisan foie gras, ahi and salmon tartare, or cannellini bean soup. Mains include grilled pastured chicken, pan-roasted salmon or dry-aged rib-eye. Daily three-course specials include salad and dessert, with or without wine pairings. The all-California wine list upholds the local-only tradition, and is arranged by growing region.
