Slope's Bbq of Roswell Description:
In 1990 in Hickory Flat, Georgia, north of Atlanta, Bob White launched his enterprise in a former two-chair barber shop. Today, White has franchised the operation, making a total of six Slope's BBQ establishments operating across the northwest metro Atlanta area. Ribs are meaty, well seasoned and nicely smoked, and the sauce is well balanced. Brunswick stew features an appealing fresh taste, with its mix of meats, including chicken and pork, and corn (that's the correct approach, without a mishmash of other vegetables). Mac 'n' cheese is fair, but the creamy slaw makes a delectable embellishment. The sauces are medium-bodied and tomato-based, and we prefer the just slightly tangy hot version. Cobbler is good for dessert. No alcohol. Other locations.
