Dreamland Bar-B-Que Description:
Franchised out from the original Dreamland, the spiffier Dreamland branches serve more side dishes than does the founding location in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. At the Atlanta locations---there are two---the seasoning on the meat seems to rely on salt, but the smoking is done correctly, leaving the meat tender but just a bit resistant to the bite (the vinegar-tangy sauce balances out the saltiness). The crisp coleslaw partners well with this 'cue. Beer is the only alcohol served, but there's plenty of good iced tea and other sides, such as baked beans and banana puddin'.
