Sundays are probably the best days to head to Tijuana’s if you are planning on a family affair. But any time is fine if you simply crave big, bustling flavors that come wrapped up in giant portions. We started off with the house combination platter, which nets you both chicken wings and deep-fried taquitos plus a big scoop of guacamole. Enchilada platters come with beans and rice, and if you look for burritos, their choices include a meat-filled, a veggie-filled, and a specialty burrito called the Santa Fe---filled with grilled beefsteak, beans, and pico de gallo. The kitchen also specializes in seafood, chicken and steak platters and doesn’t forget the kiddies, who have their own menu choices of burrito, quesadilla, tacos, and chicken nuggets. You’ll also find a few Salvadoran dishes, including the always-popular pupusa. Great place for the whole family, and the décor sends you real Mexican messages.
