This Rockville eatery is one of those places that melds two cuisines under one roof---with good results. Although the décor is Japanese, the menu consists of many hearty Korean dishes, including the popular meun kalbi tang (short ribs dish in which the meat---bones and all---comes in a boiling hot broth). Hot, warns the waitress, and if you can’t deal with chilies, you’d better head to cooler eats. You’ll have plenty other Korean choices, and maybe one of the noodle soups, beef, or fish dishes might make more sense. There’s also a sushi bar and the Japanese portion of the menu, which includes yakitori, teriyaki, tempura and Japanese noodle soups. You can rely on this restaurant for its good and reasonably priced fare, as the crowds will attest.
