Addie's menu is evocative of experimental contemporary American cooking. Lunchtime options keep to the casual sandwich or mini-entrée theme. We like the oyster po' boy, a classic Southern offering here accented with a slathering of chipotle rémoulade---none of the usual sweet tartar sauce for this creation. The grilled chicken breast sandwich in an overstuffed roll comes with curled strips of apple wood-smoked bacon, all adding up to a delectable sandwich. But you may choose dinnertime for your Addie's treat when you can pick up numerous seafood entrées, from diver scallops to pan-roasted mountain trout. The grilled rib-eye is a house special but you can't go wrong with the locally raised pork chop with glazed carrots and sugar snap peas. Desserts may include a blueberry crème brûlée or the very rich toffee pecan cake.
