Azteca Bar & Grill Description:
Replacing the Cuban favorite Blue Mountain Café, this Tex-Mex eatery is a macho kind of place with two TVs going full blast and a clattering kitchen that prevents any sort of quiet meal. To add to the general confusion, the menu is an odd mix of Central American, Tex-Mex, one or two Spanish dishes, such as the paella, and a Cuban dish, the ropa vieja, or shredded flank steak---which may be a holdover from the former chef. All in all, you might want to drop in for a soft taco platter or even---if you are counting calories---for the Fiesta salad served with strips of barbecued beef. But the food won't win any prizes, and it may not even win a return trip.
