This charming restaurant decorated in Georgia’s national colours – maroon, black and white – is not your typical shashlik joint. The delicious food is refreshingly authentic as is the wine selection. Start with the kjupta soup (mutton meatballs in a spicy tomato broth) and move on to any of the mains usually served with stewed aubergine, tomatoes and peppers.
