Extra Billy's Steak & Barbecue Description:
This is the barbecue place in town, said one old-timer in a confidential whisper. Don't need to go anywhere else. But he forgot to mention that plenty others think so, too, because at least twenty minutes before a Saturday night opening time, the adjacent parking lot can fill up with patrons actually queuing at the door. The place draws diners with its large salad bar, all-you-can-eat spare ribs on Wednesdays, a prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays, and plenty of barbecue dinner choices. Desserts are homemade and tempting, so save room for the special cheesecake. There's an active take-out counter if you can't stand the wait. A second location in Midlothian (similar menu, different hours) boasts a brewery.
