Au Restaurant Le Graffiti Description:
Set in a glass-and-brick-encased room at the front of a food market-shopping center, Graffiti is an avenue Cartier fixture. Owner Adolfo Bernardo runs a reliable, professional restaurant where a regular clientele returns again and again. It has been that way for more than twenty years. Classics such as steak frites, hanger steak with shallots or a smokehouse plate (featuring salmon, sturgeon and other smoked fish) anchor the menu, along with a regularly changing lineup of other dishes inspired by Italian or Californian cuisine. The wine list is actually a book, with pages and pages of Grand Crus and impressive vintages from France, Italy and the United States, and supplemented with monthly special selections and a wide choice of wines by the glass. Desserts may be the only downside, with a short selection of tasty but rarely imaginative cakes and puddings.
