My wife and looked forward to dinner at Dayboat because we had heard such good things about it. The food was good but not superb. What really disappointed us was the service and the noise level which was much higher than we would expect in a first class restaurant. After waiting 20 minutes for our appetizers we then had to wait over 30 minutes for our entrees. When we decided to have dessert and coffee we then had another 30 minute wait. It turned into a long evening. We know that a restaurant can have an off night and so we plan another visit in 2008. Hopefully our bad experience won't be repeated.

These guys have one of the best menus in PEI. I know it's yet another seafood restaurant but their chef Sean Furlong seems to know what he's doing, experimenting with new flavours that really shine. The dining room is quite rustic and comfortable with a great view of the water. They've got a nice patio too! I had a date there last Saturday night and we really enjoyed the corn breaded oysters and the mains. We will be going back, that's for sure.
