Saltery Bay Snack Shack Description:
The Saltery Bay Snack Shack is an upscale fast food service located south of Powell River just before the Saltery Bay Ferry Terminal, catering to both locals and international travelers. Dining is at outside tables or takeout. A wide variety of cold refreshments are served including everything from Italian sodas, smoothies, iced toffee cappuccinos and café mochas, milkshakes and float plus freshly brewed organic Cuban peaberry coffee and an assortment of teas. Hot food menu consists of 1/4 pound all beef kosher hot dogs with assorted conventional gourmet toppings, freshly cut fries with hot gravy and /or poutine from Quebec, wild salmon or veggie burgers, organic pizzas with such exotic toppings as salmon pepperoni, onion, fresh tomato, garlic, fresh herbs and roasted mushrooms. Also on the menu wild salmon dinners and freshly baked muffins and pies. Waffle cones topped with whip cream and regular ice cream cones are also served.
