Castle Key Restaurant & Lounge Description:
Visitors to picturesque Port Townsend will enjoy a meal overlooking the water in this grand Victorian castle that's also a hotel. Dine in stately elegance in the formal dining room where you can enjoy classic continental cuisine with a Pacific Northwest twist. Start your meal with the warm Dungeness crab dip served with pita bread, or choose the crab cakes. Signature dishes include the king salmon rosette, presented like a rose in bloom and served atop a bed of spinach and whipped potatoes. Equally delectable is the coffee-roasted rack of lamb with Mediterranean vegetables and grilled potatoes in a red wine demi-glace. Lobster ravioli come topped with hollandaise sauce, foie gras and pumpkin oil. The wine list primarily features American labels, with half the selections hailing from Washington State.
