Three Square Grill Description:
Who knows the pleasures that lie within a suburban strip mall? The people in southwest Portland who frequent this neighborhood restaurant know well and are happy to share. While the décor is basic and homey---blond-wood tables, crisp tablecloths, large windows, and interesting art---the menu features straight-up home cooking. Offerings include a range of soups and pastas, along with regional Southern dishes such as pan-fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and crawfish etouffée. The house-made specialties, such as smoked meats, baked goods, pickled stuff, dressings and preserves, are worth a trip to Hillsdale. All in all, Three Square is a very pleasant spot for an honest dinner.
