These days in Portland, it seems like you can't stagger a block without running into a homegrown brewpub. This chain's success may be a testament to the Rose City's ability to accept strangers, as long as they arrive with beer. The Boulder, Coloradans who invented Rock Bottom know what they're doing---there is something for nearly everyone here. Beer drinkers can play pool upstairs, hungry diners can chow down in the dining area, and tykes can lounge in a highchair with the kiddie menu. The big folks' menu offers sandwiches, burgers, pizza, ribs and such entrées as jambalaya with red ale rice and smoked chicken enchiladas. Beer slaves can join the "Mug Club" for special rewards.
