Spice up your life at this exotic, affordable family-run Ethiopian spot. It's also fun if you like to eat with your hands---and who doesn't? Fiery entrées are served on a slab of spongy injera bread that also acts as an appropriate shovel. Some of the more interesting dishes include zilzil tibs, beef chunks stewed in a spicy chile sauce, and tsebhi hamli, mustard greens tossed with flaxseed. There are interesting cocktails and a refreshing house-made ginger juice to cool the fire. The décor is minimal and service is often slow, but some are convinced the wait makes the food taste even better.
