Arrived at the apartments to find the front entrance closed.
Rang the bell and intercom for reception several times but received no response.
Finally an old gent walking his dog indicated that we should go round the corner into the cafe bar. went in and they had our key behind the bar.
Had the old guy not been there, don't know how we'd have got in.
Got into the apartment and found it to be clean and tidy. Sadly it did not have a refrigerator or a kitchen.
During our two days there we did not see anyone on reception; which made it impossible to report the fact that the light on the landing outside our apartment did not work which left it so dark you could not see the lock and had to feel for where the keyhole was.
Finally, when it came to checking out, again there was still no-one on reception and the adjacent cafe was locked up.
As there was no information letting us know what to do, we just put the key on the counter behind the reception desk.
Ironically, there were signs saying that if you paid in cash you'd get a 2% discount.
Sure, I'll just leave the money sitting on the counter minus the 2%!
The apartment itself was nice and clean, well located and good value for money. It does have a lot of things going for it.
Sadly, because of the way guests are left high and dry, not knowing how to get your key, report problems or check out, at this moment in time, despite the good points, I would not recommend it to anyone.
If this is going to be run as an unmanned group of apartments, all it would take is for a few signs informing people what to do.
