White linen, dark wood paneling and a stately bar assemble an appealing ambience. The cellar holds a notable selection of American and European wines---especially Italian labels. The seasonal menu features continental cuisine, with Italian influences. Pastas are special. Lamb, veal and steak emerge as stars from the grill. But the broiled seafood platter, with varying compositions, is a standout. Business suits dominate lunch; dinner attracts a more diverse crowd. Limos frequently line up at the door.
