This is the first gastropub in town with the best bartenders to suggest a beer from the large selection (but here's a tip: try a pint of Yards or Victory Hop Devil). When you need something to soak up all the suds, indulge in the fried smelts or a pork sandwich, and ask for seasonal specialties. The place is old and rickety but the food and drink are gutsy.
